For us, sustainability is paramount. It is an attitude that is consistent in all our choices. We genuinely care about where our material, gear and products come from, how they are produced, and by whom. We would like to share this knowledge with you, so you can learn about our supply chain.

Would it not be cheaper to get our products made from suppliers based in Asia? Yes, it would. But we have chosen to go in a different route. In our daily lives, we shop locally to support our friends, local businesses and empowering our communities. Hunter + Hudson is a representation of us, thus we took the decision that we only use quality and reputable suppliers based right here at home in the United Kingdom or in Europe.

We want to guarantee that our carbon footprint and impact is a low as possible, whilst also knowing all employees in our supply chain, have their rights protected, have good working conditions and get a fair wage. And as we grow our operations, we continue to search for and discover new partners who can help us reach our goal of more ecologically friendly manufacturing and supply practices. 

Quality not Quantity

Our planet is ours to protect, so are frugal. We do not operate with a warehouse full of gear gathering dust, as most of our products are made to order. By doing this, we ensure you received the best price on our products whilst avoiding waste deriving from the unnecessary moving of cargo and production costs. We understand the “new normal” of next day delivery, but as a company and being honest to our way of doing things, we believe this is something important. Being an explorer or devising a new trip takes time and planning, so we hope this will not be a problem for you.

As easy as it may seem to win you over with words, we prefer to let our actions speak for us. Each of your orders will be followed up by a real human, not a bot or an automated process. We want to ensure you are always up to date with your order and that you are ultimately happy with your purchase. If you are not, a real person will follow up on your returns and refunds.
